Frequently Asked Questions

Why does AEON School offer sliding-scale tuition?

At AEON School, we believe every family should be able to afford a world-class education. Our unique Reduced Tuition policy provides an opportunity for families to join our community from a wide range of economic backgrounds while sharing only the financial information necessary to determine each child’s tuition. Our method of calculating each family’s tuition is simple and transparent by design.

How is my child’s tuition rate calculated?

AEON School’s flexible tuition policy takes into account a family’s overall financial situation, which is determined using three simple factors:

  • Household income
  • Household assets
  • Number of siblings applying to or attending AEON School

How do I apply for Reduced Tuition at AEON School?

Families interested in applying for Reduced Tuition can indicate their interest on their application or email admissions-on@aeonschool.org after completing their application to request a Reduced Tuition form.

How can I estimate my family’s contribution?

Families can reference the Reduced Tuition tables on the respective campus tuition page to determine their approximate tuition rate:

How do I calculate my household income and assets?

The calculation of your AEON School tuition considers your income from all sources and all of your financial assets.

A family’s assets include the total of all cash, property, securities, trust funds, and other items of value belonging to those living in the household. A family’s income includes the total annual income in US dollars from all sources, before any deductions, of all those living in the household.

Which tax year should I use to complete my Reduced Tuition application?

Families should use the information they included in their most recent year’s tax reporting and documentation when inputting their household assets and income.

Does AEON School offer financial support for other school-related expenses above the cost of tuition?

Yes, additional financial support is offered in several areas, including Global Journeys trips, additional electives, technology provision, and other areas. Families qualify for additional financial support depending on their level of Reduced Tuition and additional details are shared upon enrollment.

Is my household information kept confidential?

All documentation and conversations with families regarding tuition and household financial information are managed with confidentiality.

Will my child’s tuition be reassessed each academic year?

Families must apply for Reduced Tuition each year. The tuition rate shifts only when there is a material change in a family’s financial situation.

How can I pay my child’s tuition and enrollment deposit?

The standard payment option for AEON School tuition payment is through a bank transfer, with an invoice provided upon enrollment. Families can also elect to pay by credit card for a small fee.
